Debra Hodgson - Illustrator

Debra is a Guildford-based professional artist and illustrator who uses a mixture of digital art and traditional media to create her artwork. Her playful characters have been a big hit in our shop with her two children’s books and her illustrative-style oil paintings of Guildford Castle have received a lot of attention - come see them before they are gone!

“I always try to incorporate elements of fun and silliness within my illustrations, whether this be the main focus, or something little hidden within the background, just waiting to be found.”


Kirsty McNay - Photographer and Collage Artist

Kirsty is a Guildford-based self-taught artist who creates intricate collages from her own original photographs to reimagine the landscape from through her own exploration of colour and texture that we were instantly drawn to. Her pieces have evoked conversations of place and memory in all who have come to see them and must be seen in person to understand the complexity of what she has created!

“I enjoy experimenting to see how I can transform a close-up detail of an object into a stormy sky or a snowy field.”

Harry Gravett - Car Designer and Artist

Harry is a Guildford based car designer who dedicates his free time to hand drawing photorealistic artworks of cars using graphic marker pens, pencil crayons and techniques used by car designers of yesteryear. His artwork is eye-catching, bright and detailed. We had Harry do live demonstrations during the latest classic car event on the High Street to prove they are indeed hand drawn!

Sarah Jane Vickery - Illustrator

Sarah Jane is an illustrator, teacher and creative that runs a selection of classes and courses to help people unlock their creativity. She has created colouring and doodle books that help people use their imagination and creativity to nurture and support their mental health which she has generously provide pages for our customers to come in and spend some time getting away from it all colouring.

Stewart Goodwin - Multimedia Artist

Stewart is a Guildford native who worked for 20 years as a Graphic & Web Designer for McLaren the F1 team before deciding to go out on his own creating his contemporary multimedia art. He loves to play with texture, light and layers of mediums to create his eye-catching pieces. His bright piece Gilded Glow certainly stole the show at our grand opening!

Emma Groslin - Ceramicist

Emma is a ceramics artist from Farnham. She creates beautiful lichen, wave and cloud bowls from clay in a range of colours that reflect those found in nature, be that in the ocean or the forest floor. This love of nature is explored in each of her pieces you will see in our shop. They are really something to be seen and enjoyed in person!

“There are so many ways of being creative with clay, whether it is smoothing, making marks, creating texture, exploring new forms, painting and decorating, mixing glazes.  I never get bored.”

Jennie Poh - Abstract Painter

Jennie is a local artist from Woking who predominantly works in acrylics and mixed media. Her artwork is bold and textured and, although of an abstract nature, can reflect forms found in everyday life. She paints upon wooden panels which allow her to be more experimental with the textures and materials she uses within her work and not be restrained or restricted by conventional canvas sizes. The way that she uses minimal colours makes the ones she uses even more powerful and draw attention to her use of brush stroke and movement within her pieces.

Andreea Elle Vas - Photographer

Andreea is a Romanian-born British artist who moved to the UK in her early twenties to pursue new opportunities and challenges. After many years working within the corporate world, she made the leap to follow her lifetime passion and started a photography studio and business. She now uses her work to not only highlight the diversity of the planet we live on but also to inspire, teach and support the work of other creatives through her company ‘Click Click Travel’ which she runs with her partner in photography and life, Matt Arnold, who showed his amazing photography at our opening.

Andreea has now allowed us to post some of her personal portfolio to invite people to interact in how the images make them feel and what they think when they see them - come add your thoughts to the wall!
